Team Maryland was well represented on the podium in the 2024 Fargo Nationals. Seven wrestlers earned All-American status, which was highlighted by Taina Fernandez who earned first in the 16U Freestyle Championship at 136 pounds. Fernandez was Maryland's third ever gold medal in the division.
On the men's side, Maryland's four All-Americans in the 16U men’s freestyle division is the most for the state since 2013. The runner-up finishes by Tyler Verceles at 94 and Corey Brown at 100 were also the first time since 2013 the state had two finalists in 16U in the same year.
